UoS/BiA
Union of Saints, which later turned into the clan BiA(Brothers in Arms), was a group of veterans who had been lingering around the War2 community after the first version of UberClan had broken up (Age of Gargamojo). After some in game turmoil in which major clans switched sides the axis went on a very long winning streak due to a superior number of veteran players.
Hal Courtney (a very skilled player ex RDK and Founding UberClan member) returned to the game after a semi-retirement. Upon his return he set about creating a clan which followed the structure of his former clans. This drew the attention of many of the remaining UberClan players and independent players who were at this point just looking for enjoyment and were not getting any because the axis were always winning. Players such as Mother Russia, Hatred, Policy, Chaplin, Saitoh, Will, Eye and Cavalier quickly joined his group. After a few rounds these players began training new recruits, and became ambassadors to Elite! where they helped out in their Boot Camp.
Throughout this time the axis continued to win, but with the strong leadership from Hal and the rest of BiA the allies stood strong. There were moments of weakness however. After a few rounds of asking for a few axis vets to switch sides for a round to help balance the sides, and the axis' steadfast refusual to do so, the senior members of BiA devised a plan. This plan was called The "A trick is something a hooker does for money... or coke" Plan. The idea behind this plan was fairly simple. The members of BiA (some of the most vocal in the community) made a big deal in the forums about the axis vets not doing what is good for the game and send a few players to the allies for a round or two. Finally they proclaimed since the allies were never going to win again they might as well just kill the game and have all of BiA switch to the axis side. This would mean rounds would be over before they began since the axis side would have an overwhelming majority of vets. This of course was only a diversion of course. The tricky part was that all the members of BiA created axis accounts with their normal game numbers, ran their startups and postured like they were ready to early rank, but in secret they all created second accounts with new game numbers and ran more subdued strats.
When the axis saw that BiA was "serious" about playing axis a few axis vets switched sides. This round ended up being the closest round that had happened in months due to the shift in players. After this round the axis clan Wolvesden began sending a few members over to the allied side each round until the allies had built up their players enough to win one on their own.
After the numbers and talent of BiA and Elite! grew stronger, Mother Russia devised a plan to end the Axis winning streak. The allied side rose up and crushed the axis side in a stunning display of coordination and team work led by Mother Russia and the rest of the players in BiA.
After snapping the axis winning streak, BiA remained a clan for a few months. After that time a lack of Admin presence and a lack of free time for many of the members of BiA the clan slowly died off. The remaining players once floated through the game. Some stayed allied and either joined Elite! or played independent. Others went axis and either joined an established axis clan, or formed their own.
Wherever they ended up, all of them remembered BiA and how like a shooting star it had appeared out of no where shined brighter than anything else in the sky then just as quickly as it had come faded away...
