WWII-War of Supremacy is a turn based game as opposed to a tick based, or real time based game. This does not mean that each player waits for others to take their turn in the war, but rather that each player is awarded one more turn to use every 20 real time minutes. There are a few other ways to get turns which are detailed below. Note that turns are displayed in the format a (b) where 'a' is the number of available turns (at a maximum of 150 unless through bonus turns) and 'b' is the number of stored turns available (at a maximum of 100). Stored turns will be reawarded to a player when they no longer have beyond 150 turns on hand. For example is a player has 34 (96), then 20 minutes later instead of gaining 1 turn, they will gain 2 and the numbers will read 36 (95).

Bonus Turns
A player can gain a maximum of 8 bonus turns a day from voting on online game ranking sites. The links to these sites are listed at the bottom of every in-game page.
Further than this a premium player gains an additional 8 bonus turns at midnight game time each night. Non paying players gain 2 at this point and this can be increased to 8 by clicking on sponser links.

Turn Calculations
Based solely on turns earned every 20 minutes in a 24 hour day, a player gains 72 turns per day. With the addition of bonus turns, this increases to 88. Consequently, in order to not lose turns through inaction, it is recommended to use turns in bulk every 48 hours except where otherwise necessary.

Starting Turns
When a new round starts, players will be awarded enough turns to use their first 100 in one go upon territory creation. This is the start up phase where eminent domain is predominantly used and is detailed further in Territory Creation and Set-Up. It is recommended to halt turn use at a count of 100 until turns exceed 150 again. Otherwise players are exposed first out of starting protection.
