The Renegade Resistance was founded as an Allied Clan by a new player named Grantler. The clan met with derision because of it's aggressive recruiting stance and complete lack of talented veteran players. TRR absorbed new players, failed to teach them to play, and as a result player turnover was very high. Eventually a core group of players became reasonably skilled but many had a falling out with Grantler and left to form their own small clan. Eventually some of these joined up with the new iteration of NKVD and in turn UberClan(notably HeartOfDixie and Waldo Pepper). Some time after this Grantler left TRR amidst a bitter feud between him and several TRR players.

TRR endured a few lean periods but eventually carved a niche for itself by fielding large numbers of speed nukers. In the years following the closure of UberClan and the decay of Wolvesden and JA to mere shells, TRR's large speed nuker force couldn't be countered. When TRR switched to the Axis side the resulting imbalance led to a 14 round Axis winning streak. This streak was eventually snapped. Later on it was announced EliteWorx would purchase the game and the return of old Allied veterans to the game tilted the balance of the game back towards the Allies. TRR, CTBNL, and TLC decided to merge into the "ONE" Clan in order to pool training resources and streamline the strategy planning process.
