Fundamentals

Fighting with other players is a key part of War of Supremacy and if you want to progress in the game you need to be prepared to take attacks from other players as well as have the capability of doing the reverse. Attacks are made through the use of the war room or, for premium players, the rankings screen. To attack a player one can use one of these options which both centre around the opposing user's territory number (Displayed as #XXXX). Normal attacks take land, whilst raid strikes deal more damage to enemy weapons and have other unique effects (See Below). Attacks can be made whenever your military is available in standby, the exception to this is when your are in your first 100 turns.

With a normal war room attack, there are essentially two different options. An individual branch attack in either air, ground or navy (Spec. Attack) or a Full-Scale-Attack (FSA). Both types pit your offensive stength against your opponents defensive stength based on unit stats (viewable in your cabinet), morale and fort multipliers. If the offence exceeds the defence then the attacker wins and land is gained based on the defender's total land as well as the difference in land of the two players (Ranges from about 2-4.7% of total land). Losses are calculated for both sides, up to 13% for the attacker (less if he's using platoons with the First Aid research) and 9% for the defender. The offensive strength of a defenders units is irrelevant and visa versa. Full-Scale-Invasions are harder to win but reward more land.

Raid strikes are good ways to lower the rank of your opponent or weaken their defences before trying to succeed with a normal attack. Victory or defeat is calculated in the same way as a normal attack but instead of land gain/loss each branch (air/land/navy) has a different effect. Winning a ground raid causes the opponent to have a percentage of the buildings lost. Winning an air raid kills a percentage of total population. Winning a naval raid destroys a percentage of the territory's stockpiled money. At present there is no option for a Full Scale Raid.

Attack Protection

There is a limit to the number of attacks that one can suffer in a given time period. Players can only be successfully attacked for land twice every six hour reset. The resets are 6AM to 12PM, 12PM to 6PM, 6PM to 12AM, and 12AM to 6AM. So a player can be broken at 5:58PM, 5:59PM, 6:01PM, and 6:02PM. Therefore the total number of sufferable attacks a day would be 8.

The exception to attack protection is the raid strike which can be used on a player who is already in attack protection and doesn't contribute to said protection.
